Welcome to Doc.Deutsch! By downloading, accessing, or using the Doc.Deutsch mobile application or website ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the App.
1. Educational Purpose, Medical Disclaimer & Non-Affiliation Notice
- A. Strictly Educational & Linguistic Purpose (No Medical Advice):
Doc.Deutsch is an educational application strictly designed to assist healthcare professionals and medical students in learning German medical terminology (Fachbegriffe) and preparing linguistically for the German Medical Language Examination (Fachsprachenprüfung – FSP).
Doc.Deutsch is NOT a medical device, clinical decision support system, diagnostic tool, or clinical guideline. All clinical cases, differential diagnoses, anamnesis questions, vocabulary, and explanations provided in the App are fictionalized or simplified for linguistic training purposes only. You agree that no content provided in the App shall ever be relied upon to make clinical decisions, diagnose patients, or formulate medical treatments. The developers and owners of Doc.Deutsch disclaim all liability for any medical errors, clinical decisions, patient outcomes, or damages arising from the use or misapplication of the materials provided.
- B. Non-Affiliation Notice:
Doc.Deutsch is an independent educational platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any German State Medical Chamber (Landesärztekammer / Ärztekammer), Approbation authority, or official examination body.
- C. No Guarantee of Examination Results:
While Doc.Deutsch is carefully designed to support your preparation for the Fachsprachenprüfung (FSP), we make no representations, warranties, or guarantees that using the Service will result in passing any official examination or obtaining medical licensure (Approbation or Berufserlaubnis).
2. Accounts, Guest Mode, and Account Deletion
- Registration & Guest Access: You may use the App in Guest Mode or create a registered account to synchronize your progress across devices. You are responsible for safeguarding the login credentials that you use to access the Service.
- Optional Usernames: Choosing a username for the in-app Leaderboard is optional. You agree not to use any offensive, unlawful, or impersonating username. We reserve the right to remove or reset inappropriate usernames.
- Account Deletion: You may terminate and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App via Profile -> Delete Account, or by contacting us at
info@docdeutsch.com.
3. Subscriptions and Premium Modules
The App may offer both free educational modules and optional Premium subscriptions or features.
- Any in-app subscriptions are billed and managed directly through your Apple ID / App Store account.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time in your App Store account settings after purchase.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and its original content (including curated vocabulary lists, clinical case scenarios, questions, translations, software code, and design) are and will remain the exclusive property of Doc.Deutsch and its licensors, protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App strictly for your personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or reproduce any content from the App without our prior written permission.
5. Availability & Termination
We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, or to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice or liability.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Doc.Deutsch, its developers, owners, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, exam fees, career delays, or other intangible losses resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any content or terminology obtained from the App; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
7. Severability & Contact
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
TEIL II: DEUTSCHE FASSUNG – NUTZUNGSBEDINGUNGEN (AGB)
Willkommen bei Doc.Deutsch! Durch das Herunterladen, Aufrufen oder Nutzen der mobilen Applikation oder der Website Doc.Deutsch („die App“, „der Dienst“) erklären Sie sich mit diesen Nutzungsbedingungen einverstanden. Wenn Sie mit Teilen dieser Bedingungen nicht einverstanden sind, dürfen Sie die App nicht nutzen.
1. Bildungszweck, Medizinischer Haftungsausschluss & Unabhängigkeitshinweis
- A. Ausschließlicher Sprach- und Bildungszweck (Keine medizinische Beratung):
Doc.Deutsch ist eine Lernanwendung, die ausschließlich dazu dient, Ärztinnen, Ärzte und Medizinstudierende beim Erlernen der deutschen medizinischen Fachsprache (Fachbegriffe) und bei der sprachlichen Vorbereitung auf die Fachsprachenprüfung (FSP) zu unterstützen.
Doc.Deutsch ist KEIN Medizinprodukt, kein klinisches Entscheidungsunterstützungssystem, kein Diagnoseinstrument und keine medizinische Leitlinie. Sämtliche in der App enthaltenen Fallbeispiele, Differentialdiagnosen, Anamnesefragen, Vokabeln und Erläuterungen sind fiktiv oder für sprachliche Trainingszwecke vereinfacht. Sie dürfen unter keinen Umständen für klinische Entscheidungen, Diagnosen oder Behandlungen an echten Patienten herangezogen werden. Jegliche Haftung für medizinische Behandlungsfehler, klinische Entscheidungen oder Patientenschäden ist ausgeschlossen.
- B. Unabhängigkeitshinweis (Keine Verbindung zu Ärztekammern):
Doc.Deutsch ist ein unabhängiges Bildungsangebot. Es besteht keinerlei offizielle Verbindung, Partnerschaft oder Zertifizierung durch eine deutsche Landesärztekammer, Approbationsbehörde oder sonstige staatliche Prüfungsstelle.
- C. Keine Bestehensgarantie:
Obwohl die Inhalte von Doc.Deutsch mit größter Sorgfalt zur Vorbereitung auf die Fachsprachenprüfung (FSP) erstellt wurden, übernehmen wir keine Garantie oder Gewährleistung für das Bestehen einer offiziellen Prüfung oder die Erteilung einer Approbation bzw. Berufserlaubnis.
2. Nutzerkonto, Gastmodus und Kontolöschung
- Registrierung & Gastzugang: Sie können die App im Gastmodus nutzen oder ein Konto registrieren, um Ihren Lernfortschritt geräteübergreifend zu synchronisieren. Sie sind für die Geheimhaltung Ihrer Zugangsdaten selbst verantwortlich.
- Optionaler Benutzername: Die Wahl eines Benutzernamens für die Rangliste (Leaderboard) ist freiwillig. Es ist untersagt, beleidigende, rechtswidrige oder irreführende Benutzernamen zu verwenden. Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, unangemessene Benutzernamen zu entfernen.
- Kontolöschung: Sie können Ihr Konto inklusive sämtlicher gespeicherter Daten jederzeit direkt in der App unter „Profil -> Konto löschen“ (Delete Account) dauerhaft löschen oder die Löschung per E-Mail an
info@docdeutsch.com veranlassen.
3. Abonnements und Premium-Funktionen
Die App kann sowohl kostenlose Lernmodule als auch optionale kostenpflichtige Premium-Funktionen anbieten.
- Abonnements werden direkt über Ihr Apple-ID- / App-Store-Konto abgerechnet und verwaltet.
- Die Zahlung wird Ihrem Apple-ID-Konto bei Kaufbestätigung belastet.
- Abonnements verlängern sich automatisch, sofern die automatische Verlängerung nicht mindestens 24 Stunden vor Ablauf des aktuellen Abrechnungszeitraums deaktiviert wird.
- Sie können Ihre Abonnements jederzeit nach dem Kauf in Ihren App-Store-Kontoeinstellungen verwalten und kündigen.
4. Urheberrecht und Geistiges Eigentum
Der Dienst und sämtliche darin enthaltenen Originalinhalte (einschließlich Vokabellisten, klinischer Fallszenarien, Prüfungsfragen, Übersetzungen, Quellcode und Design) sind urheberrechtlich geschütztes Eigentum von Doc.Deutsch bzw. seiner Lizenzgeber. Sie erhalten ein einfaches, persönliches, nicht übertragbares und widerrufliches Nutzungsrecht ausschließlich zum privaten, nicht-kommerziellen Selbststudium. Jede Vervielfältigung, Verbreitung, Weitergabe, kommerzielle Nutzung oder automatisierte Auslesung (Scraping) der Inhalte ohne unsere vorherige schriftliche Zustimmung ist untersagt.
5. Verfügbarkeit und Kündigung
Wir bemühen uns um eine möglichst unterbrechungsfreie Verfügbarkeit des Dienstes, übernehmen jedoch keine Gewähr für eine jederzeitige, fehlerfreie Erreichbarkeit. Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, Funktionen jederzeit zu ändern, zu erweitern oder einzustellen sowie Nutzerkonten bei Verstößen gegen diese Nutzungsbedingungen zu sperren.
6. Haftungsbeschränkung
Wir haften unbeschränkt nur bei Vorsatz und grober Fahrlässigkeit sowie bei Verletzung von Leben, Körper oder Gesundheit. Bei leicht fahrlässiger Verletzung wesentlicher Vertragspflichten (Kardinalpflichten) ist die Haftung auf den vertragstypischen, vorhersehbaren Schaden begrenzt. Im Übrigen ist eine Haftung – insbesondere für mittelbare Schäden, entgangenen Gewinn, Datenverlust, Prüfungsgebühren oder Karriereverzögerungen – im gesetzlich zulässigen Umfang ausgeschlossen.
7. Salvatorische Klausel & Kontakt
Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen dieser Nutzungsbedingungen unwirksam sein oder werden, bleibt die Wirksamkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen unberührt.
